Civil Infrastructure

While each development will differ in terms of ultimate function, character and use, the civil infrastructure needs will be similar. We have been tasked with the design of a variety of projects across Greenfield and Brownfield sites.

Some of our Greenfield projects are completely self-contained and located in the middle of nowhere. In addition to design, our teams have extensive experience in managing civil projects, often in conjunction with other disciplines and in locations where there is limited knowledge of construction skills and materials. The scope of services includes earthworks, roads, drainage, river training, defence and security perimeters, prefabricated accommodation and support facilities, water abstraction and treatment, wastewater, power generation, construction planning and supervision and many others.

In the case of Brownfield sites, meticulous research has been carried out to define what the underground and above ground services are and how they can be appropriately incorporated into the project, removed from the development, terminated or a combination of design solutions. It is also always necessary to liaise with any responsible authorities who may have an interest in the project.
